My Story
Understanding the people around me (and my own big emotions) inspired my curiosity from a young age. I loved talking with people and learn about their lives. My career has taken me to many places — dog walker, ropes course facilitator, dental assistant, and program director to name a few — but it’s always brought me back to mental health.
My own struggles with anxiety and depression have given me empathy for the clients we serve. They have also piqued my interest in the mind-body connection, and how our mental health can manifest in different somatic and physical experiences.
When I’m not working at Stella Nova, I am working towards my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University. I’ve been lucky to be surrounded by some pretty amazing and extremely empathetic therapists who genuinely cared for their clients, and I look forward to offering the same to the people I serve.
